The capital city of Macedonia and the second biggest city of Greece, was built by Kassandros, and takes the name from Alexander the Great sister: Thessaloniki. With a long and rich history, the tourists are amazed by all the monuments left from the roman and byzantine eras. Every year here we have international events, be they cultural, technical expositions or scientific fairs. Today it is an important cultural, commercial, industrial and administrative center. For the tourists there are a lot of museums, theaters, hotels and a lot if nightlife. The symbol of the city is of course The White Tower.
